Lace up your walking shoes and step into the heart of Italy’s Veneto region, where the UNESCO-listed Prosecco Hills offer a journey that blends natural beauty, cultural richness, and a deep sense of wellbeing. The Prosecco region is beautifully set in the undulating foothills of the Dolomites, where the dramatic alpine landscapes begin to soften into vine-covered slopes and wooded ridgelines. This natural transition zone, between mountain and plain, creates a unique microclimate ideal for growing Glera grapes—the foundation of the world-famous Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The Prosecco Hills Trail or Cammino delle Colline del Prosecco connects the historic towns of Vittorio Veneto and Valdobbiadene along a trail that winds through rolling vineyards, forested ridges, and hilltop villages inviting you to slow down and reconnect with nature and tradition. Walk at your own pace past ciglioni, iconic narrow terraced vineyards and panoramic viewpoints, pausing in timeless places like Serravalle and Pieve di Soligo to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy moments of quiet reflection. This walking trail offers a deep dive into a beautiful corner of the Veneto region, passing ancient watermills, panoramic ridgelines, and hidden valleys covered in vineyards that produce the world-famous sparkling wine. Whether you're travelling solo or with kindred spirits, this is a restorative escape—an invitation to breathe deeply, move mindfully, and embrace the joy of walking well.

GRADE 3 - The walks are along vineyards, uneven footpaths, mule tracks and small gravel roads (strade bianche). The trails through the vineyards can get slippery, muddy and heavy-going when wet or after it has rained. The trails do not always have markings but you will have an excellent navigational app to assist you with finding your way. A good level of fitness is required. Daily walks are between 12 to 18km (7.5 to 11mi) with ascents of 360m to 630m (1181ft to 2067ft) and descents of 410m to 590m (1345ft to 1935ft). As with all of our trips it is important that you are well prepared. We suggest that you undertake regular exercise – swimming, cycling, and jogging, two to three times a week for three months prior to your departure.
