If the Covid pandemic had given us one good thing, it has been the time for reflection.

Which is why we're pleased to announce a new direction for Sherpa Expeditions. Mid 2021 we changed our name to Walkers' Britain.

The Sherpa Expeditions name has served us well since 1973. Thousands of hikers, cyclists, walkers, ramblers, holiday-makers, travellers, wayfarers and wanderers like you have explored the glorious trails of the UK and Europe with us. And we're extremely proud of that.

However, we decided it was time to reassess our strengths and passions. As such, we made some exciting changes.

What has changed

> A new name. We operated as Sherpa Expeditions since 1973, and - call it a midlife crisis if you will - felt that Walkers' Britain better reflects what we offer (you certainly don't need a Nepali guide leading you along the Coast to Coast!). 

> A renovated website. It's now easier than ever to find great walking and cycling trips in the UK and Europe, as well as inspiring travellers' tales and expert advice. Be sure to take a look around.

> A refreshed look.  Our new logo reflects our dedication to active travel, our head office in London, and the iconic dry stone wall seen on so many of our tours.

What hasn't changed

The changes to Sherpa Expeditions are purely cosmetic. Walkers' Britain is still headquartered in London, still run by the same great team, and is still offering quality walking and cycling holidays across the UK and Europe at affordable prices, as we've been doing since 1973.
